Last week my solo exhibition Shaped by the sea was opened in Stadmuseum Schleswig (Germany) by the mayor (mr. Dose), in the presence of a small group of people. The fine art dibond prints (many in large format) look amazing and I am very happy with the way they are presented in the museum. A big thank you to the museum and the city of Schleswig for the invitation, Director Dr. Dörte Beier and curator Werner Bollmann for the great cooperation and to the sponsors, the Verein zur Forderung des Stadtmuseums Schleswig and the museum staff for all the help and support.
The museum has built up a strong reputation with first class photography exhibitions in the last decades and I am proud to follow the footsteps of great photographers like Steve McCurry, David Doubilet, Art Wolfe, Jim Brandenburg, Sebastião Salgado and Hans Strand, among many others.
There will be 3 guided tours in the coming weeks and the exhibition can be visited untill the 13th of September. The museum has taken adequate measures to make your visit in line with the corona protection measures and guidelines, so it is safe to visit. Please check the website of the museum for more details.
